Wow your friends and family with a festive Santa Latte Art recipe from Patryk aka @c.r.e.a.m.1985, featuring MILKLAB Oat.
To celebrate the holidays, we asked MILKLAB Master Barista, Patryk aka @c.r.e.a.m.1985 to help design a latte art pour that was fun and festive…. So he came back with a classic Santa Claus! Patryk uses MILKLAB Oat for this pour.
Step 1: Build your base with the cup handle at 3 o’clock. Pour a 4 leaf slowsetta perpendicular to the handle with a 2cm gap – we will use this empty space later to draw hat’s pom pom.
Step 2: In line with the cup handle pour two six leaf rosettas to the left of the previously poured slowsetta. Pour them right next to each other.
Step 3: Parallel to the cup handle pour a 10 leaf rosetta right above previously poured slowsetta. This will be Fur of Santa’s hat.
Step 4: With the handle at 3 o’clock drag your pour from the beginning of the rosetta while turning your cup anticlockwise to create a C shape and then back up to create a loop. This will be the outline of the hat.
Step 5: Again, start from the beginning of the rosetta and drag your pour in a C shape and a wave to create Santas nose
Step 6: Now using a high to low drop technique create an eye
Step 7: Finish your design by drawing a solid circle at the bottom of the hat. This will create hat’s Pom-Pom.
And there you have it, a Santa latte art! 🎅
