How does the Online MILKLAB Barista Battle work?

  1. Take a video of you doing your finest latte art pour using any MILKLAB plant-based milk no cuts, no edits!
  2. Upload it to Instagram or TikTok between 6-31 January 2025
  3. Tag @milklabco and #MILKLAB2025BB in your post and let us know what state you're from.

From there a state winner will be picked and flown to Melbourne to compete at the MILKLAB Barista Battle National Finals, held at the Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE) on 21 March 2025!

Rules

Prizes 🏆

  • 8 State winners will win a double pass to the Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE), return flights and accommodation to Melbourne for you and a mate for 3 nights.
    • VIC winner will receive a $250 VISA gift card in lieu of flights and accommodation.
  • National winner will win $3,000 cash prize and an opportunity to become a MILKLAB Master Barista valued at $2,000.  The winner will also have the opportunity to compete in the International MILKLAB Barista Battle Final to WIN a trip for two to Switzerland to attend the World of Coffee Geneva (2025 World Latte Art & World Cup Tasters Championships), 26 -28th June 2025.
  • 10 runner-up winners will win a MILKLAB merch pack for the most unique and creative submissions - it's time to let your creativity fly!
