Turmeric Chickpea Oats

- ½ cup MILKLAB® Almond
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ½ cup waterPinch of salt
- Pinch of pepper
- 1 cup kale
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast flakes
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- ⅓ cup cooked chickpeas
- ¼ cup slivered almonds, toasted
- 2 green onions, finely sliced
Method
- Combine oats, water, MILKLAB® Almond, salt and pepper in a saucepan and bring to boil.
- Reduce to a simmer then stir through kale until wilted.
- Add turmeric and cook further until oats thicken, then add yeast flakes.
- Top with chickpeas, almonds and green onions.
