Cheese Grits

Ingredients
- 2 cups MILKLAB® Dairy
- 2 cups water
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of pepper
- 1 cup cornflour
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 115g shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 small can corn kernels
- 3 green onions, finely sliced
Method
- Combine MILKLAB® Dairy, water and salt in a saucepan over medium heat and boil.Gradually add cornflour and whisk.
- Lower heat and cover, whisking every3-4 minutes to prevent lumps. Cook for20 minutes until creamy and thick.
- Remove from the heat, add salt, pepper and butter, and mix through.
- Once butter has melted, add cheese and whisk through then top with extra cheese, corn kernels and green onions.
